The rules go as follows:
1. One of the Golden rules for this site, is Respect one another. Treat others how you would like to be treated yourself. You wouldn't like coming onto this site, if all you had when you came back was fights and arguments happening left right and center.
2. Post count doesn't matter. Its Quality of what you write that matters, not Quantity. Yes, we all like to get a high post count, but you will get that over time, and with being active. This means:
- The length of your posts. And this just applies to all RP-related posts. Posts like on the Discussions don't really matter. When RPing, write at least 5 - 10 sentences minimum. Long posts are always enjoyable to read, and it gives more for another RPer to reply to.
- A Handy hint - USE SPELL CHECK. I know we all know the basics. Capital letters and full stops. But Spell check is there, so use it. Its harder to reply to posts that don't have the correct spellings or grammar, and therefore can leave you confused and un-able to reply. Spell check is there for a reason my friends..
3. The karma system. Don't abuse it. I know we all feel good when we get karma, but seriously, getting 3000 + is WAY to much. Only use karma when you feel an RPer has done a good post, or has followed a rule and should be rewarded.
4. If you happen to be going on vacation, or unable to reach a computer, then signing the 'Away' sheet. So we know you may be away for a while, and we wont move your character application to inactive.
5. NO BAD LANGUAGE. And when I say this, I mean this. Younger people may be using this site, and when they come on they don't want to see the site filled up with f's and swear words flying life right and centre do they...
6. No-god modding. Bad things happen occasionally, and you have to simply go along with them. Such as if you were to be in a fight, you aren't indestructible or invincable. And you cannot always change something in a thread to go exactly how you want it.
7. Try your best to stay active. You don't have to come on every single hour of every single day, I'm meaning post as often as you can.
8. Threads- you can be in more than one thread at once, and in different places/cities depending on the time your in. Such as if you were to post in the ARC and you started another post in let's say the shopping centre, you can still post in the ARC thread, as well as the shopping centre thread. If you get me . There's no limits to how many threads you in at the one time. Just as long as your able to keep up with them.
9. No world-changing, INCREDIBLY dramatic events please. If you wanted to do something like, blowing up the ENTIRE earth, you would have to PM a member of staff first, to see if you can actually do it. Small-scale things are fine.
10. Be original. Well, as original as your mind will take you. You don't have to copy things of the show. You can make things up as you go along.
11. Feel fee to help new users. Remember when you were knew to the site? Didn't know what to do? If a member of staff isn't around, helping them would welcome them to the site, offering them a helping hand and friendships with other users. Also, if there lonely and have no one to RP with why don't you offer? It could mean the world to them ;]!
12. Be patient. If your application has not been approved, don't bust a gut, we will get there as soon as we can. We try to see ALL new applications as there made.
- Threads. If someone hasn't posted in a thread for a while, friendly reminders are encouraged. but don't Bombard them with messages and Pm's Saying: REPLY TO MY THREAD NOW.
13. Don't steal other peoples thoughts or ideas. Its mean and nasty and completely not fair on the original person who thought them up... heard of plagarism? Don't do it!
14. Please keep your signatures to a maximum of 500 pixels wide by 300 pixels tall. We don't want your signature to be taking over the full page.
15. I'm happy, hope your happy too. HAVE FUN, AND RP TO YOUR HEARTS CONTENT.
Any questions or queries feel free to PM a member of staff and we will be more than willing to help you.
